CNC Machinist / Machine Shop Technician

​

Responsible for producing high‑precision performance components using CNC equipment, manual machines, and shop tools. This role supports Titus Performance’s manufacturing workflow by executing machining operations, maintaining equipment, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with engineering and shop leadership to deliver production‑ready parts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machining & Production

    • ​Set up and run CNC and manual machines from CAD models and drawings with minimal supervision, checking parts with precision measuring tools as you go.

  • Workflow & Shop Operations​

    • Keep the shop clean, safe, and organized, support part flow and job tracking, work with the Shop Ops Manager and CAD Tech, and help with assembly and fabrication when machining is slow.

  • Quality & Continuous Improvement​

    • ​Hold tight tolerances and quality finishes, fix machining issues, write down setups and processes so they can be repeated, and help improve how the shop runs.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both).

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.

  • Experience with G‑code, CAM workflows, or CNC control interfaces (Haas, Fanuc, etc.).

  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools and quality inspection processes.

  • Solid understanding of machining fundamentals: feeds/speeds, tooling, materials, tolerances.

  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and maintain consistent output.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Background in automotive, motorsports, or performance manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar CAD/CAM software.

  • Experience with engine components, fabrication, or performance part production.

  • Knowledge of shop safety, lean manufacturing, or workflow optimization.

 

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment.

  • Commitment to precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
